I am writing this post due to the "undercurrents" of media 'hate speak' against the conservatives and anyone who doesn't march to their tune!
Now that another horrible massacre has occurred the 'disarmers' are out in force and it there is talk of an executive order to confiscate so called assault rifles.
The January inauguration will prove to be a downward economic spiral that will burst the current economic bubble and chaos will ensue.

I have posted about the need to watch YouTube videos to familiarize yourself with survival issues from Basic to advanced survival gear and usage.
I have posted about 'prepping' for disasters, storms and the onset of economic chaos.
Now I have to say that everything I have been warning about is upon us.
So I want to talk about 'last resort' survival issues.
First and foremost I am a Christian! I can never align myself with this God-less One World Government so I am forced into a 'defensive' position.
For anyone who doesn't agree with this position is invited to delete this post and forget about it.
Now that we have distilled the audience down to the 'listeners' I would like to share some important information about the future.
There are trusted Christian 'prophets' (Okay, I trust them) out there who are saying:
1. There will be an economic collapse due to the Judgement that is coming to the USA.
(check out "The Harbinger" by Jonathan Cahn.)
2. Major devastating earthquakes are predicted for Los Angeles 1st, then the Seattle/Vancouver area, then it is supposed to 'rattle' up and down the San Andrea Fault between the two other major quakes.
3. This administration will sign devastating treaties with the United Nations that will dissolve the
sovereignty of this nation.
4. Finally, Israel will have to attack Iran's nuclear infrastructure to curtail Iran's attack on them. Thus plunging the world into WWIII. (See Ezekiel 38 & 39)
Finally, it is extremely important to change our 'business as usual' approach to life and start taking our preparations serious.
This message, though scary, is designed to break through the 'deception' that the media has provided to keep the sheep moving toward the slaughter house 'quietly' and in order.
I understand the hesitance, it is like the movie Matrix; take the red pill to wake up or the blue pill to stay is La La land.
If you are not a Christian, I would encourage you receive Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. This salvation is but a heartfelt prayer away.

Economic collapse avalanche?
I have been watching Europe go through the financial upheavals of late and am getting that "here we go" feeling! The US is printing money and borrowing money at a record rate. The 'financial cliff' that our government is facing in January along with the current lack of economic growth leads to a very negative outlook.
So in keeping with the previous posts and my concern for the future I would like to encourage you to get ready for a real roller coaster ride.
Let's add the uncertainty of the food supply since we have had a drought in the Midwest for a year with floods that also destroyed crops, farms and moved river paths in the North.
Overall their are quite a lot of reasons to gather a few items that might make the future little more palatable.
If you have never researched this subject I would suggest that you look on the internet for subjects like "Beginning to prep" or Urban preparedness or on YouTube for Preparedness videos.
Even if you just 'copy-can' when you go to the store that would be a beginning. Copy-can is the act of buying two cans of your normal can goods instead of just one. That way you have some stand-by in the case of a supply issue or prolonged storm and you can't get to the store.
Dependent on your geographical location having back up clothing on hand or additional water stored up may be of some comfort during an event outside of 'normal'.
All that preparation consists of is: Thinking about what you might need, could use or should have in case "something" happens out of the ordinary or the storm lasts longer or is more powerful than 'normal'.
Here are current big "IFs": If the European crisis ricochets from country to country this 'avalanche' will affect world markets which will affect the american market as well. So our current poor economical outlook could turn into a complete economic collapse.
So all I am saying is maybe us 'preppers' aren't as crazy as some imagine? Maybe we have seen what has occurred in the Balkans, Beirut and Africa when social order disintegrates, civility turns in to aggression and its the survival of the meanest. nastiest and toughest.
Alright, so now that I have painted such a dismal picture. There are ways in which to prepare for just about everything else that could happen. Of course the truth of the matter is survival is a multi-layered field of study that is as simple as carrying a few items with you in case of an emergency to gathering an entire community of like minded folk to prepare against the possible collapse of society into WROL or Without rule of law.
Never the less, you should at least have a few basic items on hand, just in case.

2 Minute warning?
I have endeavored to bring helpful training and informational posts so you could prepare for the EOTWAWKI or SHTF situations which are coming upon us. I can only hope you listened and began your preparations. I sincerely hope that you haven't gotten tired of training, storing, preparing or telling your friends and family to do the same!
Okay, status update! Israel is going to bomb Iran's nuclear factories and their known ICBM sites. This is going to start WWIII! This is 'officially' the first Domino to start a change reaction of world changing events.
I always believed the earthquake in L.A. would be the starting shot, but Israel may beat it to the punch.
We are all sitting here on borrowed time. I remember reading Matthew 24: "as in the days of Noah (a time of violence and ungodliness) so shall the coming of the son of man be." And in Luke 17: Likewise in the days of Sodom (a time of perversion and Anti-God mentality) there was destruction either by water or by fire. Either way there was devastation that affected the world.
I chose this post topic for a couple of reasons. In football as you know the 2 minute warning tells the players it is time to up their game because the end is near! I also chose it to promote a sense of urgency in those of you who procrastinate.
The important thing is that you get moving, learn as much as you can to live off the land or the urban jungle, which ever is yours. It is also time to "gather". Tools, materials, family, friends and store up food and water.
Remember YouTube.com is the best source of training available at your fingertips. Yes there are some strange people out there ex-positing some bizarre-ness, but there are also good people with good ideas and good experience that you need to take advantage of.
Don't think about purchasing a lot of gear if you can't afford it. Learn how to make gear, how to purify water and how to stay alive. Investigate the more primitive ways, so when you find yourself with little or nothing you can know how to make, gather or modify what is available for your use.
Once again it is important to not be alone! If you don't have any family to train with. Ask one of your friends to help you with a 'project' that you are interested in. Or if possible find a group of 'preppers' in your area who would be willing to impart their wisdom and you never know, they might even like you and take you into their fold.

Down to the wire?
Here we are in the beginning of 2012. I have posted multiple posts about preparation and training only to find out very few people have viewed them.
Although disappointed, I am not deterred from attempting to help as many as I can.
If you read this you have less than a couple of months to get ready depending on which side of the country you reside. I am on the west coast (hence my moniker Edge in CA) and will be affected by the beginning destruction. It will hit LA first, then the Seattle/Vancouver area and then rattle up and down the San Andreas Fault for a while. This will not be a pleasant time, many will be lost. But you don't have to be. You can still train and prepare for the disasters. My earlier posts will give you people to contact and training videos to review. You cannot continue in the business as usual mode! You must start getting ready!
The time of trouble is like a woman giving birth; the 'pangs' getting longer, harder and more frequent until the time of delivery occurs. Many will be confused by the onset because the government and the media are still putting out the 'soothing babble' that all is well and there is nothing to worry about.
Unfortunately it will be the demise of millions and a new world of tyranny and slavery for the remainder.
But take heart, God is in control, Jesus in coming again! We just have to make it until he arrives.
This is a time of gathering. Of dropping the selfish, self centered lifestyles that most of us live. Of groups of people banding together for the common good (See Acts chapter 2 verse 44 see the URL below).

There is no way out of this 'trying' time, only through it. Those who have the will to live can do this.
Secondly, there will another devastating earthquake Japan which will send a tsunami to the west coast.
Thirdly, there will be the eruption of Cumbre Vieja which will cause the splitting of the island which will slough off into the ocean causing a 'Mega" Tsunami that will inundate the east coast.
Fourthly, there will be a major quake on the New Madrid fault on the Mississippi River which will adversely affect the 9 states along the Mississippi River and it will cause a widening of the River so that the country will appear to have been divided!
Although these dire predictions can be a source of fear, there is way out of the fear and that is to accept Jesus Christ as your 'personal' Lord and Savior. Ask him to forgive you of your sins, come into your life and teach you the ways of God the Almighty. Remember when this 'tent' you call a body dies, your spirit and soul do not! You will want a protector and a guide when you enter into the eternal realm.
If you complete this transaction you then have the Creator of the Universe (the 2nd person of the Trinity) dwelling in your spirit and if you request of him he will also fill you with the Holy Spirit (the 3rd person of the Trinity) and then you will have fellowship with the Father (the 1st person of the Trinity) and it only gets better from there.
For those of you who are turned off by the 'Christianity' of this paragraph it is my prayer that you remember that you only need to voice these words "Jesus, I need you!" and he will help you indeed.
In conclusion: GET READY! You have been warned and the responsibility now lies with you.
