Okay, so here is the latest update from the prophets. There will be a 'major' earthquake in Los Angeles followed by one in the Seattle/Vancouver area. This will in-turn rumble up and down the San Andreas fault causing major damage throughout California.
There will also be a devastating earthquake in the Tokyo area which will be the impetus to the unraveling of the world economic system.
The time we have left should be utilized to make preparations for the coming difficulty. Do you know what to do if there is a loss of essential services? Can you find water in the country, the city, in your home if the water stops running? Can you start a fire without matches? Do you understand how to survive? Do you have the emotional control to handle adversity? You are not in this alone. There are others who you can network with within your sphere of influence. There are people with abilities and 'gifts' that you need with you to make it through.
So you ask, how do I find them? Where do I look?. Short answer; they find you but you have to be careful to recognize them. If you will treat people with respect and consideration you will open the door to their heart.
Hard times are coming, live each day properly doing what you need to do, as you normally would. But you must use you off time to train, prepare and organize your survival.
There are thousands of you tube videos that provide training, instruction and explanation of the rudiments of survival. If you review my earlier posts I have provided some of the websites that I recommend for your training.
Now, I need to complete the information cycle. I spoken before that the teachings of Jesus Christ is the only reasonable way to live. As he said, he is the 'way, the truth and the life'. So for those of us who have surrendered our lives to His Lordship we can just die and spend an eternity with Him in peace and joy.
But we are called to serve others. So we need to not only prepare to survive but be prepared to help others survive so they can find a 'saving' relationship with Him prior to their transition from this world into the next.
It is the responsibility of the 'trained' to provide leadership and assistance to the novice or unlearned.
I can only hope that this information motivates you to begin your training and become a friend to those within your sphere of influence.

"The ring of Fire"
I have been watching the USGS websites for many years and I have noticed that the seismic events around the world have been steadily increasing in strength and frequency. This brings to mind the biblical concept of "Birth Pangs". Jesus said that there would be earthquakes in diverse places and that this would be the 'beginning of sorrows".
Since I went through the Loma Prieta Quake in 89' I became a watch dog of seismic activity.
I have always been a "just in case" kind of guy (kudos to my Army training) that sets stuff aside for emergencies. However after the 8 & 9 pointers started popping up (with tsunamis) I have kicked it up a few notches. I have tried to get some of my relatives involved but they don't get it and say the government with take care of them or they say "We'll be fine". Too bad, I will miss them.
I wrote this to say that the government scientists have always told us not to worry; which has always worried me. Remember I was in the Army and know how the government 'works'.
Allow me to outline the standard survivability index for you starting with a quote I have heard all my life:
Failing to plan equals planning to fail.
Survivability has been equated to the standard 'Bell curve', a statistical graph that is used in academia.
The first 20% of the population are not capable of survival for a host of reasons, albeit age, physical impairment or mental challenges. The next 40% range from 'need a lot of help' to 'just need a little help' and depending on the help available and their desire to survive have a 5-50% chance of making though the event (or events) and starting over building a new life.
The last 20 percent have the ability, the drive and perseverance to not only make it through most catastrophes but also to start over after things settle down a little bit.
Survival is a choice and you've got to want it bad to get the job done!
There are a lot of 'Survival', 'Prepper' and Emergency Action websites available that you can glean knowledge from but it takes time. Which brings me back to my original premise "The Ring of Fire".
How much time do we have? I don't know, but I have put aside some food and water (and water filtration systems) so that we can get through a while without the normal power and water services.
I will say that there are many Scientists who are predicting major seismic events in our near future!
In my previous posts I have provided some websites where I buy my stuff (I don't get any money from them!) and would comfortably recommend them with confidence.
If you want a little training advice I am open to helping you design your path to preparedness, just leave me a comment with your contact info.

It's time
I have been wondering the periphery of the Christian experience since 1973. I have attended a lot of 'church' meetings, I have served in various capacities in various 'churches' over the years. I found myself confused and even offended by the actions of the leadership of these 'churches'. I finally just stopped attending 'church'. Now over the years I have heard all the reasons why one should attend 'church', especially the verse about 'not forsaking the gathering of yourselves together'. More on that issue later.
In a time of long term unemployment (the recession in the early 80's) I was still attending a church and was active in its programs. I was spending a lot of time praying about my need for work and other family oriented issues when I started getting 'impressions'; that is to say 'mind pictures' of a sort that laid out a picture of a 'relational' Christian community akin to the first century believers. This 'picture' unfolded into quite an elaborate scenario complete with some explanations [I all of a sudden understood why things were shown the way they were] and some reminders of scriptures that provided a deeper understanding of what was to occur.
Nothing I could do ever helped the vision materialize into reality.
So here it is 27 years later and it is starting to 'bubble up' to the surface again.
I have 'bumped' into a man on TV who talks about this 'vision' as though he was there with me. He wrote a book about his 'vision' and speaks about it being time for it.
I have had a man known for his 'connection' to God convey to me the term "Its Time" and another respected Christian minister I watch on TV said that she was told to tell someone in the TV audience that "Its Time".
Great, so now I am up against the original issues that stopped me 27 years ago. I have even been praying for God to show me what 'it is time' for and I haven't received anything. But I know, deep in my heart that the Time is for the Vision, only I am unsure how to deal with the roadblocks.
So here I am, deja vu all over again.
If it is time then okay, I am ready for something, I think. If it is the 'Vision' then there is no way to get ready other than trust God to work it out.
It is my hope and prayer that I get another chance to do what I am supposed to do and haven't lost my chance because I didn't 'fight' the opposition at the time.
However I do look at the state of the world right now and the 'Vision' seems far more plausible under these conditions than it would have those many years ago.
So in conclusion, I am left with the 'Vision' indelibly etched into my spirit and with a deep longing to live it out, to fulfill my purpose in this life, something I haven't been able to enjoy in decades.
Now, here is the interesting part of why I am writing this in a blog that I have confirmed has had 0 visitors, 0 followers and no real way of being 'found' in cyberspace.
I am asking Jesus to cause those who need to connect to this vision to find it and that these words would connect with their spirits so that the 'Vision' can be spread.
God Bless all those that find these words and share in its vision.

Please prepare for the upcoming disasters!
The amount and frequency of earthquakes around the 'ring of fire' see:[http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/] and in some other rather interesting locations like the 'New Madrid' area near Memphis TN. are all 'pending' large earthquakes according to a host of world renowned seismologists. LA is next to be shaken then Seattle and Vancouver. Japan isn't finished yet; there is a major fault under Tokyo due to erupt. There are some who say a portion of Japan sits on a small plate that could theoretically slide into the ocean creating a Tsunami that would devastate the western seaboard of the US and Hawaii. There is also the issue of a bulge under the lake in Yellowstone that is creating eruptive pressure that could release a major eruption.
If you want to make it through these upcoming disasters I would like to suggest you put aside some bottled water or better yet a portable water purification system like Seychelle or Katadyn. It would also behoove you to put aside some packaged foods like "MREs" or freeze dried foods like 'Mountain House' or 'Food for Health Intl.'.
(It is important to get in line for these emergency rations since the government has been buying them up very rapidly since they know what is going on. Check out www.nitro-pak.com's delivery delay statement)
I know we all have to continue in the work-a-day world but we need to curtail some of our normally frivolous activities that we fill our non working time with and begin to prepare our homes, vehicles, and families.
There are a multitude of great resources to help you get ready for the upcoming events. It doesn't have to cost a lot to prepare. But the psychology of survival is your first step! It is important to set your family down and begin to discuss an emergency plan. First off, where to meet after an event. Have everyone carry a space blanket, and emergency poncho and a large bandanna for emergency air filtering. Everyone should carry a protein bar with them in case they must spend the night away from their home. Each vehicle should have a first aid kit and if possible an emergency kit that contains food and water.
I don't want to seem like I am pushing anything but I want to share what works for me. I have a couple of Seychelle's purifiers one is a 28 oz filter bottle and one is an emergency 'straw' that you can drink out of mud puddle with. Check our www.seychelle.com (I found it cheaper than Katadyn and a better scientific report).
I would also like to recommend www.foodforhealthinternational.com they have organic food, vitamins and supplements available with some of the food prepared to last 20 years!
